Why change windows?
Case 1: Old window with sliding leaves made of wood, iron or bent sheet metal
The leaves of the old window are removed. The new window is mounted on the existing frame, it is fixed with screws and both sides of the contour are covered with silicone.
Case 2: Old window with opening leaves made of wood, iron or bent sheet metal.
The leaves of the old window are removed. Hinges are cut or removed. The new window is mounted on the existing frame. It is fixed with screws and both sides of the contour are covered with silicone. This new window can have the same old layout with opening sashes or it can be transformed into a sliding sash window.
Case 3: Old projecting window made of wood, iron or bent sheet metal.
The scissors that hold the projecting blade are cut and it is removed along with its old opening mechanism. The new window is mounted on the existing frame, fixed with screws and both sides of the contour are covered with silicone.
Case 4: Old opening or sliding windows with fixed panels both on the sides and on the top.
Fixed parts can be completely removed. In this way you can take advantage of all the space that included the old window.
Case 5: Removal of the lower guide
In some cases the frame of the old window is very deteriorated, especially the lower guide. For these cases, the guide is cut and removed. The space it leaves is covered with smooth cement falling outwards to facilitate water runoff.
Case 6: Covering the entire existing frame
The entire existing frame is covered as if it had never existed. Depending on the case, covers, angles and moldings of the same color as the window to be installed can be used.
